The Washington Commanders Unveil Their New NFL Team Identity

The Washington Commanders, once the former name of the NFL’s Washington Redskins, unveiled their new identity today at their official announcement press conference. The new name comes 18 months after the team dropped its old moniker following decades of criticism from Native American groups and others who said it was offensive to American Indians.
